Terms of Use
Legal & Terms.
The legal framework that outlines our commitment to you, and your rights as a Crowd user. No confusing jargon, just the important details.
Crowd Terms of Use
Effective Date: August 8, 2026
Crowd is a social platform designed to connect like-minded people and groups through shared interests, communities, events, places, and real-world plans.
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Crowd mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).
Crowd is operated by SLS Strategy Partners LLC (“Crowd,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By creating an account or using Crowd, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
Our Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, and Safety Guidelines are also part of your agreement with us.
1. Your Account and Eligibility
Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use Crowd.
By using Crowd, you represent that:
you are at least 18 years old;
you have the legal ability to enter into these Terms;
you are not prohibited by law from using the Services;
you have not previously been permanently removed from Crowd unless we have expressly allowed you to return; and
the information you provide to us is truthful and reasonably accurate.
Accurate Information: You agree to provide truthful and reasonably accurate account information, including your age and profile details.
Account Security: You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity that occurs through your account.
You may not:
impersonate another person;
create deceptive or fraudulent profiles;
sell or transfer your account;
create accounts using bots or automated tools; or
create a new account to avoid a suspension or permanent ban.
We may request age, identity, or account verification where reasonably necessary for safety, fraud prevention, security, or legal compliance.
2. How Crowd Works
Crowd helps users discover and connect around things such as:
events;
interests;
communities and Circles;
local places;
maps and location-based discovery;
social plans;
mutual interests;
shared lifestyle information;
friendship preferences;
messages and group conversations; and
other social features we may introduce.
Crowd may recommend people, communities, events, places, or content based on information available to us.
However, Crowd does not guarantee that any recommended person will be compatible with you, safe, trustworthy, available, or interested in connecting with you.
You remain responsible for deciding who you interact with and whether to meet someone offline.
3. Vibe Checks, Match Scores, and Recommendations
Crowd may display compatibility scores, percentages, shared interests, “things in common,” recommendations, rankings, or similar features, including features referred to as a Vibe Check.
These are informational tools only.
They may be generated using profile information, interests, preferences, activity, event context, location context, or other available information.
A match score or recommendation:
is not a scientific or psychological assessment;
does not guarantee compatibility;
does not verify another user’s identity or intentions;
does not guarantee friendship or a successful interaction; and
should not be treated as a safety assessment.
Use your own judgment when deciding whether to connect with someone.
4. Events, Places, and Third-Party Activities
Crowd may display concerts, sporting events, restaurants, bars, venues, meetups, festivals, activities, or other real-world experiences.
Unless Crowd expressly states otherwise, Crowd is not the organizer, promoter, venue operator, ticket seller, or host of third-party events or locations displayed through the Services.
Event and venue information may change.
Crowd does not guarantee:
event availability;
admission;
ticket availability;
event schedules;
venue conditions;
accessibility;
accuracy of third-party event information; or
the safety of an event, venue, organizer, or attendee.
You are responsible for reviewing and following the rules of any venue, organizer, or third-party service you use.
5. Meeting People Safely
Crowd is designed to help online connections become real-world friendships and plans. Meeting someone you first connected with online involves risks that Crowd cannot eliminate.
Crowd generally does not conduct criminal background checks on every user, verify every statement made in a profile, supervise private meetups, or guarantee another person’s identity or behavior.
You are responsible for your interactions with other users and for deciding whether to communicate with, meet, travel with, attend an event with, or otherwise interact with another person.
Crowd’s Vibe Checks, match scores, shared interests, profile information, verification features, or other recommendations are not substitutes for your own judgment or reasonable safety precautions.
Before meeting someone in person, we recommend that you:
spend time chatting through Crowd first;
consider having a short video call before meeting;
meet in a public and populated place;
tell a friend or family member where you are going;
arrange your own transportation;
protect sensitive personal information; and
leave the situation if you feel uncomfortable.
A video call may help you make a more informed decision about meeting, but it does not verify another person's identity, intentions, or safety.
Never send money to someone you meet through Crowd.
If you believe you are in immediate danger, contact local emergency services.
Please review our Safety Guidelines for additional recommendations.
Meetups, Events, and In-Person Interactions
Unless Crowd expressly states otherwise, Crowd does not organize, supervise, inspect, vet, or control third-party events, venues, informal meetups, or interactions between users.
Your decision to attend an event, participate in a meetup, or meet another user in person is voluntary.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you assume the ordinary risks associated with in-person interactions, including risks relating to transportation, venue conditions, food or alcohol, weather, other attendees, venue operators, organizers, and other third parties.
Crowd cannot guarantee that an event will occur as described, that a venue will be safe or suitable, or that another user is who they claim to be.
6. Location and Map Features
Some Crowd features may use location information to help you discover nearby events, places, communities, people, or social plans.
Location information may be approximate, delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate.
Do not rely on Crowd location or map features for emergency navigation or situations requiring precise location information.
You can manage certain location permissions through your device or Crowd settings.
For more information about how we collect and use location data, review our Privacy Policy.
7. Content on Crowd
While using Crowd, you may interact with three types of content:
Your Content: content you upload, submit, send, post, or otherwise provide through Crowd.
Member Content: content other Crowd users upload, submit, send, post, or otherwise provide through Crowd.
Crowd Content: content, designs, software, interfaces, graphics, branding, and other materials provided by or on behalf of Crowd.
“Content” may include text, profile information, photos, videos, audio, messages, comments, posts, event content, Circle content, albums, interest checks, usernames, bios, and other materials available through the Services.
7a. Your Content
“User Content” includes things you submit, upload, send, post, or otherwise make available through Crowd, including:
profile information;
photos;
usernames;
bios;
posts;
comments;
messages;
albums;
event-related content;
Circle content;
interest checks; and
other material.
We do not claim ownership of your User Content. You own your content.
However, you give Crowd permission to use User Content as reasonably necessary to operate, improve, secure, moderate, and provide the Services.
Specifically, you grant Crowd a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, distribute, modify for technical purposes, and otherwise process your User Content in connection with operating the Services.
This license ends when your content is deleted from our systems, except where:
another user has legitimately retained content you shared;
we must retain information for legal, safety, fraud-prevention, or regulatory reasons;
technical backup systems temporarily retain copies; or
applicable law permits or requires continued retention.
You represent that you have the rights necessary to upload or share your User Content.
You are responsible for Your Content and for the consequences of sharing it through Crowd.
You may not upload, post, send, or otherwise share content that violates these Terms, our Community Guidelines, applicable law, or the rights of another person.
You should not share personal or sensitive information that you would not want other users to see or potentially share with others. If you voluntarily disclose personal information to another user, you do so at your own discretion and risk.
Depending on the feature and your privacy settings, Your Content may be visible to other Crowd users. You acknowledge that other users may screenshot, copy, forward, or otherwise share content they can access, even where doing so violates these Terms.
We may remove, restrict, block, or limit access to Your Content if we reasonably believe it violates these Terms, our Community Guidelines, applicable law, or the rights or safety of another person. Crowd is not obligated to display, preserve, or review every piece of content submitted through the Services.
7b. Member Content
Other users are responsible for the content they share through Crowd.
Member Content belongs to the user who submitted it or to the applicable rights holder. Your ability to view Member Content does not give you ownership of it.
Unless expressly permitted by Crowd, the person who posted the content, or applicable law, you may not:
copy, reproduce, or distribute Member Content for commercial purposes;
scrape or systematically collect Member Content;
use Member Content to spam, harass, threaten, impersonate, or exploit another person;
publish another user’s private information without permission;
use another user’s photos, profile information, messages, or content to create fake profiles or accounts;
use Member Content to create datasets or train, develop, or improve artificial intelligence or machine-learning systems without authorization; or
otherwise use Member Content outside the intended social purposes of Crowd.
Member Content may be inaccurate, incomplete, misleading, offensive, or harmful. Crowd does not endorse Member Content merely because it appears through the Services.
You should use your own judgment and independently verify information where appropriate, particularly before deciding to meet someone in person.
7c. Crowd Content
Crowd owns or licenses the content and intellectual property that make up the Services, including our software, interfaces, designs, graphics, branding, logos, screens, layouts, features, artwork, copy, and technology.
Your access to Crowd Content does not give you ownership of it. Your permitted use of Crowd Content and restrictions on copying, reproducing, scraping, reverse engineering, or commercially exploiting Crowd are described further in the Intellectual Property section of these Terms.
8. Private Messages and Communications
Crowd may provide direct messages, group conversations, comments, and other communication tools.
Users are responsible for what they communicate.
You should not assume that messages or content sent through Crowd will remain confidential if another participant screenshots, copies, forwards, or otherwise shares them.
We may access, preserve, review, or disclose communications where reasonably necessary to:
investigate reports;
enforce these Terms;
prevent fraud or abuse;
protect users;
respond to legal requests; or
comply with applicable law,
subject to our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
9. Community Rules and Prohibited Content
You may not use Crowd to engage in conduct that is illegal, abusive, deceptive, dangerous, or harmful.
Among other things, you may not:
harass, threaten, stalk, intimidate, or abuse another person;
engage in hate speech or discriminatory harassment;
impersonate another person;
create fake or deceptive accounts;
scam or defraud users;
solicit money through deceptive means;
send spam or mass unsolicited messages;
engage in unwanted sexual harassment;
exploit or endanger another person;
promote illegal activity;
distribute malware;
attempt to hack or interfere with Crowd;
scrape or harvest user information without authorization;
use bots or automated systems to access Crowd;
evade a suspension or permanent ban;
sell, rent, or transfer accounts;
misuse another person's personal information;
infringe copyrights, trademarks, or other rights; or
use Crowd in a way that materially interferes with other users’ enjoyment of the Services.
post or share content that is obscene, unlawfully pornographic, sexually exploitative, or otherwise prohibited by our Community Guidelines;
encourage or facilitate violence, dangerous activity, self-harm, exploitation, or other conduct likely to cause serious harm;
post content that unlawfully infringes another person’s privacy, publicity, copyright, trademark, or other rights;
share another person’s private or confidential information without authorization;
upload images or content depicting another person where you do not have the legal right or permission to do so;
solicit passwords, financial information, or sensitive identifying information from another user for an unlawful, deceptive, or commercial purpose;
use Crowd in connection with pyramid schemes, fraudulent investments, scams, or deceptive commercial activity;
falsely claim or imply that Crowd endorses you, your statements, your business, or another product or service; or
knowingly submit false or abusive reports against other users.
Content or conduct that violates these Terms or our Community Guidelines may result in removal of content, restrictions on your account, suspension, or permanent termination.
Crowd maintains zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material and will report suspected unlawful material where required by applicable law.
10. Reporting, Blocking, and Moderation
Crowd may provide tools that allow users to report or block other users.
We may investigate reports and take action where we believe appropriate.
Actions may include:
warnings;
removing content;
limiting account functionality;
removing users from communities;
restricting messaging;
suspending accounts;
permanently terminating accounts; or
preventing users from creating new accounts.
We are not required to disclose every detail of an investigation or moderation decision.
We may take action even where conduct occurs outside Crowd if we reasonably believe it creates a serious safety risk to Crowd users or the integrity of the platform.
Crowd may use a combination of user reports, technical systems, automated tools, third-party services, and human review to help identify potential violations of these Terms or our Community Guidelines where such systems are implemented.
Content or accounts may be temporarily restricted while a safety, fraud, or policy review is pending.
Automated systems may make mistakes. Where Crowd provides an appeal process, users may request review of eligible moderation decisions.
Our moderation practices and any processing of personal information for safety purposes are further described in our Privacy Policy.
11.Premium Subscriptions and Billing
Crowd may offer subscriptions and other paid features through Apple’s App Store, Google Play, or other authorized payment platforms.
If you purchase a subscription, it will automatically renew until you cancel it, subject to the terms presented to you at the time of purchase.
Automatic Renewal: Unless you cancel before the applicable renewal deadline, your subscription will automatically renew for an additional subscription period at the price disclosed to you at purchase or renewal.
By purchasing an automatically renewing subscription, you authorize the applicable payment provider to charge your payment method for each renewal until you cancel.
Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through the platform where you purchased it.
If you cancel, your subscription will remain active until the end of the subscription period you already paid for. At that time, your paid benefits will expire and the subscription will not renew.
Canceling a subscription does not automatically delete your Crowd account.
Deleting the Crowd app or deleting your Crowd account does not necessarily cancel an active subscription. If you purchased through Apple’s App Store or another third-party platform, you must separately cancel or manage your subscription through that platform to avoid future charges.
Refunds: Except where required by applicable law or the policies of the platform through which you made your purchase, all purchases are final and non-refundable.
Crowd generally does not provide refunds, credits, or prorated reimbursements for:
partially used subscription periods;
unused subscription time;
failure to use the Services;
events you attended or chose not to attend;
connections or introductions made through Crowd;
messages exchanged;
Vibe Checks or recommendations received;
Circles joined;
features already accessed or made available to you;
dissatisfaction with a particular connection, event, recommendation, or outcome; or
deleting your account before the end of your subscription period.
Your subscription provides access to Crowd’s applicable paid features during the subscription term. It does not purchase or guarantee any particular friendship, connection, event experience, introduction, compatibility result, or other outcome.
If you have used Crowd to discover people, events, communities, recommendations, or other paid features during your subscription period, that use does not create a right to a refund simply because you no longer wish to continue using Crowd.
App Store Purchases: If you purchased your subscription using your Apple ID, Apple manages billing, cancellation, and refund requests under Apple’s own policies.
Crowd does not control or guarantee Apple’s decisions regarding refund requests.
You may manage your Apple subscription through your device’s Apple ID subscription settings.
Free Trials: Crowd may offer promotional or free trial periods.
Unless otherwise stated at the time of enrollment, a free trial may automatically convert into a paid subscription when the trial ends unless you cancel before the deadline displayed at purchase.
If you do not cancel before the trial ends, you authorize the applicable payment provider to charge the subscription price presented to you when you started the trial.
Changes to Paid Features or Offers
To the extent permitted by law, Crowd may:
modify or discontinue paid features;
change available subscription plans;
limit promotional offers;
impose eligibility requirements on discounts or promotions;
refuse or cancel transactions where fraud or abuse is suspected; or
restrict access to paid offerings where reasonably necessary.
Any material changes affecting an active subscription will be handled in accordance with applicable law and applicable App Store or payment-provider requirements.
12.Account Deletion
You may delete your Crowd account at any time using the account deletion process available through the Services.
Deleting your account is separate from canceling a subscription. If you have an active subscription through Apple or another payment platform, you are responsible for separately canceling that subscription to prevent future renewal charges.
Crowd may investigate, restrict, suspend, or terminate an account if we reasonably believe that you:
violated these Terms;
violated our Community Guidelines;
misused the Services;
engaged in fraudulent, abusive, inappropriate, dangerous, or unlawful behavior;
attempted to evade a previous suspension or ban; or
created a safety or security risk for Crowd or its users.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, suspension or termination of your account for violation of these Terms or misuse of the Services does not entitle you to a refund for purchases already made.
If your account is terminated by you or by Crowd, provisions of these Terms that by their nature should continue after termination will remain in effect, including provisions relating to intellectual property, user content, liability, indemnification, disputes, and payment obligations.
Information associated with a terminated account will be retained or deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
13.Intellectual Property
Crowd’s software, brand, designs, interface, graphics, layouts, screens, icons, logos, trademarks, mascot characters, animations, copy, visual systems, interaction patterns, code, features, and other proprietary materials are owned by or licensed to SLS Strategy Partners LLC and may be protected by copyright, trademark, trade dress, patent, and other intellectual-property laws.
Your use of Crowd does not give you ownership of any part of the Services or any Crowd intellectual property.
We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use Crowd only for its intended personal purposes.
Protection of Crowd’s UI, UX, and Product Design
Except where permitted by law or with our written authorization, you may not:
copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, or publicly display Crowd’s screens, interface designs, graphics, layouts, icons, animations, or other visual elements for commercial purposes;
frame, mirror, clone, or reproduce any portion of the Crowd application or website;
create a competing product or service by copying or substantially reproducing Crowd’s protected visual designs, screen layouts, graphics, branding, or proprietary product elements;
use Crowd’s screenshots, interface designs, or other protected materials to market or develop a competing product;
reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code or underlying implementation of the Services, except where applicable law expressly permits it;
use automated tools, scraping, data extraction, screen capture systems, or similar methods to systematically collect Crowd content, interface elements, or user information;
remove or alter copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices; or
create unauthorized derivative works based on Crowd’s protected content or designs.
use Crowd Content, screenshots, interface elements, Member Content, or data obtained through the Services to train, develop, evaluate, or improve artificial intelligence or machine-learning systems without our prior written authorization;
All rights not expressly granted to you are reserved by SLS Strategy Partners LLC and its licensors.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to prevent lawful criticism, commentary, news reporting, fair use, or other uses protected by applicable law.
14.Copyright and Intellectual Property Complaints
Crowd respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users to do the same.
If you believe that content available through Crowd infringes your copyright, you may submit a written notice requesting that the allegedly infringing material be removed or access to it be disabled.
To help us review your request, your notice should include:
a physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on the owner’s behalf;
identification of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed, or a representative list if multiple works are involved;
identification of the material you believe is infringing and enough information for us to reasonably locate it on Crowd;
your name and contact information, including an email address and, where appropriate, a mailing address or telephone number;
a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or applicable law; and
a statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the copyright owner’s behalf.
Copyright notices should be sent to:
SLS Strategy Partners LLC
Attn: Copyright / DMCA
Email: support@crowdsocial.us
We may remove or disable access to content that we reasonably believe infringes intellectual property rights.
Crowd may suspend or terminate the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe the copyrights or other intellectual property rights of others, where appropriate and consistent with applicable law.
If you knowingly submit a false or materially misleading copyright complaint, you may be responsible for resulting damages or other consequences under applicable law.
If content you posted was removed because of a copyright complaint and you believe the removal was a mistake or that you have the legal right to use the material, you may contact us to request information about submitting a counter-notification. Any counter-notification must satisfy the requirements of applicable copyright law.
15.Third-Party Services
Crowd may display or integrate information from third-party services, websites, APIs, event providers, ticketing companies, map providers, authentication services, and other businesses.
Those services are controlled by their respective providers.
Crowd is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, security, policies, content, or independent conduct of third-party services.
Your use of third-party services may be governed by separate terms and privacy policies.
16.Changes to Crowd and These Terms
We may improve, modify, add, remove, suspend, or discontinue features of Crowd over time.
We may also update these Terms to reflect changes to Crowd, our business, or applicable law.
If we make material changes, we may notify you through email, the app, our website, or another reasonable method.
Continuing to use Crowd after updated Terms become effective means you accept the revised Terms where permitted by law.
17.Disclaimers
Crowd is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we do not guarantee that:
the Services will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free;
all information available through Crowd will be accurate, complete, or current;
another user’s profile information will be truthful;
another user will communicate with or meet you;
users will be compatible;

Vibe Checks, match scores, recommendations, or “things in common” will predict a successful interaction.
Crowd is not responsible for User Content or for the independent actions, statements, conduct, intentions, or omissions of users or third parties.
18.Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, SLS Strategy Partners LLC and its affiliates, owners, officers, employees, contractors, agents, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or relating to your use of Crowd.
This includes, without limitation, losses arising from or relating to:
interactions with other users;
offline meetings or activities;
events or venues;
transportation to or from an event or meetup;
User Content or Member Content;
unauthorized access to or use of your account;
interruptions, errors, or unavailability of the Services;
third-party services; or
reliance on Vibe Checks, match scores, shared interests, recommendations, or other information provided through Crowd.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, our total aggregate liability to you for claims arising out of or relating to the Services will not exceed the greater of:
(a) the amount you paid Crowd during the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim; or
(b) $100 USD.
Some jurisdictions do not permit certain exclusions or limitations of liability. In those jurisdictions, some or all of these limitations may not apply to you.
19.Indemnification
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SLS Strategy Partners LLC, Crowd, and their affiliates, owners, officers, employees, contractors, agents, licensors, and service providers from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of or relating to:
your use or misuse of the Services;
Your Content;
your interactions with other users;
your violation of these Terms or our Community Guidelines;
your violation of applicable law; or
your infringement of another person’s rights.
Some jurisdictions do not permit certain indemnification obligations, so some or all of this section may not apply to you.
20.Dispute Resolution and Governing Law
Before filing a formal legal claim relating to Crowd, you agree to first contact us and make a good-faith effort to resolve the dispute informally.
Your notice should include:
your name;
the email address associated with your Crowd account;
a description of the dispute;
the facts supporting your claim; and
the resolution you are requesting.
Notices should be sent to:
SLS Strategy Partners LLC
Attn: Legal
Email: support@crowdsocial.us
After receiving a complete notice, you and SLS Strategy Partners LLC agree to make a good-faith effort to resolve the dispute informally for a period of 30 days.
If the dispute has not been resolved within 30 days after we receive the complete notice, either party may pursue any remedies available under these Terms and applicable law.
Nothing in this informal dispute resolution requirement prevents either party from seeking urgent or emergency relief where necessary to prevent immediate or irreparable harm, or where applicable law does not permit such a requirement.
Governing Law. Except where applicable law requires otherwise, these Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to Crowd, the Services, or these Terms will be governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
Nothing in this section limits any consumer protection or other rights that cannot be waived under the laws applicable to you.
21.Termination
You may stop using Crowd at any time.
We may restrict, suspend, or terminate an account where we reasonably believe:
these Terms were violated;
our Community Guidelines were violated;
the account presents a safety or security risk;
fraud or abusive behavior occurred;
the account may harm other users or Crowd; or
termination is required by law.
Certain provisions of these Terms will continue to apply after an account is terminated where appropriate, including intellectual-property, liability, indemnification, and dispute provisions.
22.Apple App Store Terms
If you access Crowd through Apple's App Store, you acknowledge that these Terms are between you and SLS Strategy Partners LLC, not Apple.
Apple is not responsible for operating or maintaining Crowd except to the extent required by Apple's applicable terms.
Your use of Crowd must also comply with applicable App Store rules.
Apple and its subsidiaries may be third-party beneficiaries of provisions of these Terms relating to your use of the iOS application where applicable.
23.General Legal Terms
Entire Agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, Safety Guidelines, and any additional terms presented in connection with a purchase or specific feature, constitute the entire agreement between you and SLS Strategy Partners LLC regarding your use of Crowd.
Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
No Waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not waive our right to enforce it later.
Assignment. You may not transfer or assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without our written permission. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, or other lawful business transaction.
No Agency Relationship. These Terms do not create an employment, partnership, joint venture, agency, fiduciary, or franchise relationship between you and Crowd.
24.Communications and Notifications
Crowd may send you service-related emails, push notifications, alerts, authentication messages, and other communications relating to your account or use of the Services.
Where permitted, we may also send promotional communications. You may manage push notifications through your device settings and unsubscribe from promotional emails using the instructions provided in those communications.
